Logan aka Taterwedge

I grew up playing in church leagues and have always loved the game. When Genia (aka Sissy) told me about the Ham Slams starting up, I knew I had to be a part of it! On the field, you'll usually find me roaming the outfield, but I'm ready to play anywhere that helps the team bring home the bacon. Outside of softball, I'm an avid outdoorsman who loves hunting, fishing, camping, and building cars. Most of all, I love spending time with my wife and our brand-new baby boy, who is my absolute pride and joy!

I joined the Ham Slams because any team named the “Ham Slams” deserves my full support, and even though I may not hit every ball 400 feet, I’ll hustle like I did. My favorite position is third base, but I don’t mind outfield either. Outside of softball, my favorite thing is making memories with my wife and son, usually somewhere around a baseball field. Let’s win some games and bring home some bacon this season!

I joined the Ham Slams because I love softball, meet new people/friends and most all just have fun. My favorite positions are pitcher, catcher, and RF, I can play first as well. Outside of playing softball, I enjoy the beach, fishing and spending time with friends and family.

​I have been playing rec softball for 3 years now, and decided to join Ham Slams to see what we can do on the diamond. I will play any position open, dont really want to be in first base. Off the diamond I love to kayak, camp and hike the trails in the mountains, the mountains are my happy place!!

I joined the Ham Slams because I wanted an excuse to hang out with my older sister—and since she’s the team captain, I figured it was a pretty safe bet I’d make the roster! My favorite spot on the diamond is the outfield because there’s nothing more satisfying than snagging the game-winning catch and pretending I meant to look that cool. When I’m not chasing down fly balls or sliding into home, I’m usually hanging out with my amazing boyfriend, Gavin, or convincing myself that buying “just one more” LEGO set is a perfectly reasonable life choice

I joined the Ham Slams to have fun, meet new people, and be part of a team that doesn't take itself too seriously. I love the mix of competition, laughter, and making great memories. I played first base thru middle and high school, however my favorite position is wherever the team needs me most. I enjoy being involved in the game and doing whatever I can to help us win and had fun. Outside of softball I enjoy spending time with my wife, Hope, relaxing at our home away from home in Oriental NC, fishing and relaxing the pool, taking care of projects around the house, and enjoying time with family. I also love being outdoors and making the most of life's simple moments.

Since moving to NC of August 2026, my hopes was to find a softball team…#Success
I'm a Connecticut Native & I’ve had the privilege of playing rec softball for coed, all woman’s plus, a travel team since 2021 in my native state. More recently I found a knack for outfield but sometimes thrown to shortstop or third, but I always play wherever i’m needed. If I’m not at work or church, probably attached to the hip of my wonderful Boyfriend James or hanging with fam. Can’t wait to get the season started & bring home the bacon.
